A Game of Thrones RPG sample
I was Creative Director on this massive project to adapt George R.R. Martin’s award-winning series, A Song of Ice and Fire, to tabletop form.
The creative team consisted of 17 writers, 19 artists, 2 editors, 2 art directors, and one beleaguered direwolf (well, malamute).
The game was published in 2005 as a 576 page deluxe limited edition, and as a slightly smaller d20 book. And we took home ENie Awards for Best Graphic Design (2nd Place), Best Game (2nd Place), and Best d20 Product (2nd Place).
This sample includes a page from the introduction, the example of play and the magic rules that I wrote for the game.
